Halo Infinite Faceoff 4 v 4s Tournament

Date: Saturday, January 8th, 2022

Time: 9 AM PST // 12 PM EST // 5 PM GMT

Tournament Format: Quads - Best of 3 Double Elimination Bracket. Games in the second chance bracket will be a best of 1.

Cost: $40 CAD / Team

Teams of 4 will compete in best of 3 elimination bracket. Each losing team is allowed a second chance to compete which will be a single best of 1 game.

Winners of each round will continue through until a winning team is declared.

Prizes will be delivered via paypal or eTransfer.

Prizes

  • 1st Place - $400 CAD (Team)
  • 2nd Place - $100 CAD (Team)

Rules

  • Teams will have up to 15-minute to report to their game.
    • If they run into any technical issues joining an admin needs to be contacted to quickly resolve the issue.
    • If after attempting to resolve the issue a team member still has connectivity issues host may be forfeited in an attempt to resolve the issues.
    • If after any extended troubleshooting and a player is unable to start the game, the team will have to play without them.
  • If a team is MIA for more than 15 minutes when reporting to a game they will be forfeited.
  • If any team members are missing or more than 15 minutes late the teams will need to start with the players who are available.
  • No refunds will be given for any technical issues on any player end from being able to launch a game.
  • If players face disconnects within the first minute of a game starting a full restart will be allowed.
    • There will only be a max of 2 restarts for disconnects or game crashes within the first minute.
    • Any disconnects or crashes after the first minute will not lead to a game restart and the teams will need to play out games with players short.
  • We’ve adopted the HCS Ruleset and Game Play Settings from sections XI and XII (Pages 21-26)
  • Winner Bracket game modes will consist of: Game 1 - Capture The Flag Game 2 - Oddball Game 3 (If necessary) - Slayer
  • Second Chance games will all be slayer.
  • Arena’s will be randomly selected and announced upon bracket generation.
  • Each team will have a chance to host a game, with the top team being first. If teams desire they can opt to let the other team continue hosting based on ping.
    • If a team is unable to host or start a game after 3 tries they forfeit their host to the opposing team or a moderator will create the game
